I first painted the styro-foam cone trees with acrylic, used matching glitter, and finally sealed them to last. I added a felt base to ensure no scratching of your fine surfaces. I added things like sequins, buttons, beads, pearls, garland, ribbons, silk flowers, dyed feathers, birds, or anything that I thought went well together. I used dress pins to secure the embellishments.
